Your Child's First Visit The purpose of the first visit is to introduce you and your child to our office and staff, review your child’s health history, and examine and assess their oral health. Other procedures, namely a professional tooth-cleaning, topical fluoride and x-rays may also be performed. Upon completion of the first appointment, your child’s treatment needs will be discussed with you and if necessary, additional appointments may be scheduled with our Front Desk staff.An orthodontic assessment/screening is included in the first and follow-up six-monthly appointments. Whether provided as a part of the standard pediatric dental appointment, or as the initial orthodontic visit, there is no fee for the service. We offer a caring and gentle approach to all children.
